Join The Ten Year Career
A FREE Live Virtual Event teaching early career dancers the biggest dial movers that lead to a fulfilling dance career that’s built to last a decade and beyond. While booking your first job is great, I’m going to be breaking down the EXACT steps I’d take to book work with choreographers, directors, and companies I admire over and over again.
I’m coming up on the 10 year anniversary of my performance career and it’s got me in my feels a bit 🥹
I remember at the beginning being so anxious about having enough time to do all the thing I wanted to do. I wanted to go on tour, learn interesting rep, perform
I’m thinking about all the great people I’ve gotten to work with since I graduated in 2015 and the work that contributed to the artist I am today.
While you may be thinking, “Brandon, 10 years isn’t exactly a long time in the grand scheme of things..” I’m also realizing how many dancers never make it to this milestone (many don’t make it past the first 2 years).
— People get burned out
— They can’t deal with the trade offs required to do the work they though they wanted to do
— Priorities shift
This career is challenging— BUT when it comes to finding success, it comes down to knowing where/how to spend our time.
In this FREE workshop, I’ll break down the top tools and strategies I used to create a consistent and fulfilling performance career in NYC.
Ill show you:
How to make the most of your first 2 years out of school
What to do when you’re inbox isn’t blowing up with job offers
How to be more consistent in your career to book the jobs you’re perfect for
YOU’VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

You’re why I created The Ten Year Career. While so much of the messaging around a dance career focuses on how short it is, I want dancers to play a long game. I want to teach dancers the steps to take NOW that will lead to jobs and opportunities
You’ll leave with not only a more full picture of how the professional dance world is changing but with tactical ideas on how to approach your career head on.
This FREE 2-hour event is live with Brandon and will leave you with tactical ideas you can try right away. And yes— it will be recorded and sent out within 24 hrs of the event.
FAQs
I can’t make it to the live event. Can I get a recording? YES! Although it’s best if you can make it live, a recording will be sent out within 24 hours of the event.
Is this only for contemporary dancers? While my expertise is in the contemporary landscape, these principals can carry over into the commercial and musical theater lane.
Whats the catch? No catch! I created this because it’s exactly what I needed when I was starting. I remember feeling like a small fish in a big pond and wanted to have a better grasp on my own career. I wouldn’t tell you to do anything I wouldn’t do myself. The ideas I’m sharing in this workshop are the best practices in booking work outside of an audition room.
That being said, I will be offering participants an invitation to my signature coaching program PROS which is gearing up for its third iteration this spring. This is completely optional and even if you don’t join us for PROS you’ll still get so much out of this one workshop.
So who is this exactly for? While dancers at any stage of their career can benefit from this event, it’s designed for those are in the first 1-2 years of their journey. Overall, I want dancers who are actively pursuing their career to take advantage of this workshop. That may mean dancers who have already completed a job and are looking for other ways into the career they want.
Hi, I’m Brandon!
Since launching my first coaching program in 2020, I’ve worked to help other dancers find fulfilling work. The dancer’s who have come through my programs have landed jobs with The Metropolitan Opera, the Radio City Rockettes, Twyla Tharp, Peter Chu, and more.
I started my career in 2015 as a company member with Visceral Dance Chicago. While in the midwest I also worked as a guest artist with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and the Cambrians.
After two years of full-time company life, I moved to NYC to pursue a freelance career. Here I danced for the Metropolitan Opera ballet at Lincoln Center, KEIGWIN + COMPANY, Vim Vigor Dance Company, Belinda McGuire Dance Projects, and as a performer and rehearsal director of Punchdrunk’s, Sleep No More.
Up to this point, I’m so grateful for the incredible projects I’ve gotten to be a part of and I’m excited to help other dancers do the same!
Through my podcast, Breaking the Wall Podcast, and a series of one-on-one and group coaching programs like SHIFT and PROS, I have been working to help early career dancers book work they love and build long, fulfilling careers.
